Cable Cord Cylinders
Most cords have a cylindrical lump at the end of its length. The ferrite cores or chokes have magnetic iron oxide to prevent high-frequency electromagnetic interference. When you make a call, it might get interrupted by weird noises. The cylinders prevent the interruptions from happening in the first place.
Apple Power Cord Wings
If you have a MacBook, we bet you have seen the wings on the cord. What is up with that? Apparently, you can pull them up and then wrap the cord around them! This makes it easier to clean up and prevents other people from tripping on your wires. This is a cool tip to keep in mind.
