Not a cloud in the sky, just paid off your car insurance, saw your therapist, got a raise, traveling to Hawaii tomorrow, all seems to be going quite well in your life. So if all is going “so” well, then why won’t that “wah wah” feeling go away? (Unfortunately) stress is a feeling that all human beings experience. So what’s the solution? And no, a weekend at the spa isn’t it. But instead relax. Relaxing is not only good for you, but it also takes less time then most people think. Here are some easy, simple, and fun relaxing stress relievers. [Namaste].
Spend Time With Your Pets.
Dog, cat, fish, turtle, hamster, parrot, bunny, or whatever your pet of choice is, the unconditional love, and cuddles, that pets provide is irreplaceable. So make sure to spend quality time with your pet because it’s the easiest way to free your mind.
Laugh A Lot.
Laughing is such a wonderful, fun, and social way to immediately turn that frown upside. The more you laugh, the more distracted you are from remembering what was bothering you, why you felt stressed. Whether it’s hanging with friends, going to a comedy show, or watching an old episode of “Friends”, whatever the activity may be don’t forget to laugh a little, or a lot!
Exercise.
So one of two things is happening in this photo: 1) the most upbeat, good energy song is playing, or 2) endorphin’s are being released and this lady is feeling good! We’re going to say it’s a combination of both. As “stressful” as working out is to many people, exercising in fact is one of the best stress relievers out there. When you work out you look good, and when you look good you feel good, and when you feel good you’re not stressed!
